Newborn Photoshoots
Arranging a newborn photography session is a truly wonderful way to capture all of the tiny and beautiful details of your precious new arrival. In such a fleeting time, these little ones really do grow up fast.
We recommend that newborns are photographed within the first 2 weeks of their safe arrival. During this time, your newborn will be sleepy and curly enough to get the most out of a newborn session.
We classify any baby up to 4 weeks (one month) old as a newborn, however, babies over 2 weeks old are simply more likely to be awake for the photographs - which we do love to capture too!

What to expect from a Newborn session?
Newborn sessions are booked before your baby's arrival.
We suggest you book your Newborn Studio Session 7 -10 days after your baby's due date.
We are able to move your session earlier or move it to a later date if your baby hasn't arrived by your due date. We ask that you let us know if your baby hasn't arrived a minimum of 48 hours before your session. Don't worry if your baby has already arrived, give us a call and we will organise with you the best time to come to the studio for your Newborn session.
- Booking with the Baby Boutique you will receive a two-hour time slot at our Manchester Studio in the Northern Quarter. Your session time will be booked just for your family, allowing you to relax in our fun and relaxing studio.
- Bring along grandparents and cousins, you can even bring your pets to the studio! Additional family and sibling images can be included for no additional cost.
- We have a large collection of backdrops to choose from to suit every home. We will be able to do a range of different backdrops, setups and outfit changes - All props, backgrounds and accessories will be provided.
- Here at the studio, we have a large range of soft fabrics, decorative setups & props, baby bonnets, headbands and other accessories to create images that we know you will love.
Your session will be baby led and the two-hour session allows you time to feed and settle your baby in our relaxed Photography Studio.
When you choose a Baby Photoshoot package what do I get?
- A minimum of five digital images will be provided via an online gallery in both colour and black & white
- One 16" x 12" print of your favourite image
- 1-2 week turnaround time - This can be subject to change based on the current workload.
- A £30 deposit is required to secure your session.
